More information

Recently, the exhibition “NAOMI: In Fashion” took place at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, from 22 June 2024 to 6 April 2025. The exhibition features this photograph by Herb Ritts, which has been used in the museum's marketing and on social media, as well as the leopard-print outfit designed by Alaïa that Naomi is wearing in the image. The museum describes the exhibition as the first of its kind:

“Naomi Campbell is a phenomenon. Still very much at the top of her game after nearly four decades in the fashion industry, news of her trailblazing work, both on and off the catwalk, continues to hit the front pages as she pushes the boundaries of the fashion world. Inspiring, creative, energetic and most definitely iconic, Campbell stands apart as a unique force. […]

This exhibition showcases over 100 items that trace Naomi Campbell's life through clothes, offering a visual history of fashion spanning her four-decade career. On display is a leopard-print knitwear bodysuit from Alaïa’s autumn/winter 1991 ready-to-wear collection, famously captured in a photograph by Herb Ritts in 1991 for Interview magazine.”
