More information

First introduced in 1950, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox takes its name from the Latin phrase for “voice of memory,” reflecting the watch’s defining mechanical alarm feature. In 1962, Jaeger-LeCoultre upgraded their Memovox line by phasing out Calibre 814 and replacing it with Calibres 910 and 911. Like their predecessors, they benefited from Kif shock protection, which is where the “K” designation originates.
