Brass, originally silver-plated, so-called "argent haché". Decorated with a stylised border and chiselled shell. Stamped "MÄS: / SING" and "FÖR. / SILE.V". Length 14, height 5.5 cm.

More information

The model of the candlestick is not previously known, but it can be assumed that Caspar L. is the maker in this case as he is today the only known master who used the general marks for silver-plated brass.
