A Swedish 17th century Baroque parcel-gilt silver tankard, mark of Friedrich Richter, Stockholm (active 1668-1700).

Cylindrical, gilded inside, standing on three ball feet, decor of flowers, birds and fruits. A folding lid with an inset coin with King Charles XI of Sweden and engraved acanthus leaves around. Later engraving on the body: 'To L.J. Lundholm d. 31 March 1853. Memory of the pupils at Katarina School'. Height 18 cm, length approx. 21.5 cm. Weight approx. 1115 g.

Worn gilding. Possibly polished hard underneath (the Stockholm crown stamp worn away).
