A Swedish early 19th century parcel-gilt silver bridal crown, mark of Erik Ramstedt, Härnösand 1801 and copper case.

Circular ring of gilded silver with ornaments. The upper part of the bridal crown consists of five vertical spires with pierced patterns and hung with leaves and decorated with seraphim. The upper ends of the spires are anchored in a ring. Height approx. 10 cm. Weight approx. 300 g.

Original case of copper, so-called "crown case". Swedish copper smith. In the form of a tapering box. The lid with a handle and engraved mark "—OBS— / 1801" and underneath "LS.". Diameter 23.5, height 16.5 cm.

Provenance

Purchased from the firm Jan Ribbhagen in the late 1990s by the current owner.
