An Antique travellingbox/dressing case, marks of Fitzmaurice West, London 1870.
The wood box is adorned with brass edges and inlaid monogram, as well as recessed side handles and with velvet inside. The content includes seven glass jars with gilded silver lids, scissors, glove stretchers, a thimble, a compass, writing instruments, mirrors with ivory handles, and more.
A small glassbox, a fan, and a small brush tip are missing.
