A triple-case pocket watch by Edward prior (watchmaker in London 1800-68) for the Turkish market.

The outer case of 'faux tortoise' and gilded brass, the Turkish white enamel dial signed 'Edward / Prior / London', pierced balance cock and pillars, the engraved movement plate signed and numbered 69717. The inner case with casemaker's mark 'W.C.S.' Height c. 50 mm.
