Provenance

Purchased by a previous owner at an exhibition in Värmland in 1998.
Acquired at auction in Stafsnäs in 2023 by the present owner.

Artist

Lars Lerin, Swedish visual artist born in Munkfors and raised in the village of Sunnemo in northern Värmland. He studied at Gerlesborgsskolan from 1974 to 1975 and at Valands konsthögskola in Gothenburg from 1980 to 1984. He is best known for his illustrations from his travels around the world. Considered the Nordic region's foremost watercolour painter, he has exhibited all over the world.
