A Gustavian giltwood mirror by C. G. Fyrwald (master in Stockholm 1776-1825).
Gilded and bronzed. The crown with decoration of a fluted shield, a Vasastyle finial and a ribbon bow, the lower part with draped floral garlands, the frame with bead moulding and candelabra. Two-part, faceted and mercury-gilded mirror glass. Signed with a burn mark "C.G.F" and dated with the Stockholm town mark 1785. Height 161, width 59 cm.
