More information

St. Thomas Church was designed by architect Peter Celsing and interior architect Ella Öström. The church opened in 1960 in Vällingby, a suburban disctrict in Stockholm which had been inaugurated six years earlier.

The original furnishings consisted of benches and chairs. All the interiors and decoration were designed by interior architect Ella Öström, employed at Celsings office, who, in close collaboration with Celsing, designed the interiors of all his church projects.
