Since Jaeger-LeCoultre did not produce its own chronograph movements during this period, it collaborated with manufacturers such as Universal Genève and Valjoux. In France, certain UG chronographs were sold under the Jaeger signature, meaning the dial could be marked 'Jaeger' even though both the case and movement were made by Universal Genève.
