The lighter from Patek Philippe with reference number 9505, also known as the Golden Ellipse Chevrons, was produced around 1978 to 1980. It is part of a very limited series of exclusive lighters that Patek Philippe manufactured in the late 1970s, often in 18K gold (yellow or white), featuring hand-engraved patterns created using 19th-century rose engine machines.
Reference 9505 is particularly rare – only a handful of examples have appeared on the market. It is distinguished by its chevron pattern and its shape, which echoes Patek Philippe’s iconic Golden Ellipse watch.
