More information

The Hublot Big Bang “Steel Ceramic” reference 301.SB.131.RX captures the spirit of the original Big Bang from 2005 in its purest form. The watch features a bold 44 mm stainless steel case topped with a black ceramic bezel secured by six H-shaped titanium screws, paired with Hublot’s signature natural rubber strap. Sapphire crystals on both sides reveal the automatic chronograph movement HUB4100.

The Big Bang has become inseparable from Hublot’s identity. Founded in 1980 by Carlo Crocco, the brand caused a stir by combining a case inspired by ship portholes with a natural rubber strap, a concept previously unseen in luxury watchmaking. When the Big Bang was introduced under Jean-Claude Biver in 2005 it won international design awards and transformed Hublot into one of the most talked-about names in the industry.

Reference 301.SB.131.RX remains the definition of the Big Bang. The powerful 44 mm silhouette, the striking contrast of steel and ceramic, and the comfort of rubber make it a modern classic. With its robust automatic chronograph movement and unmistakable design language, it represents Hublot’s modern identity: technical, energetic and unapologetically bold.
