More information

At its launch, the model was marketed with the following tagline:
“Ideal for sportswear, the supremely elegant Neptune is, at the same time, the perfect dress watch.”

The Patek Philippe Neptune ref. 5080 was introduced in 1996 as a sporty yet sophisticated alternative to the brand’s classic collections. Strategically positioned alongside the Nautilus and Aquanaut, it formed part of Patek Philippe’s push into the elegant sports watch segment. With its unique design and short production run, which lasted until 2002, the model has become a sought-after collector’s piece.

The stainless steel case measures 36 mm and features a distinct textured bezel, paired with an integrated bracelet in a “beads-of-rice” style that reinforces the nautical theme. The watch is powered by the automatic Caliber 315 SC – a movement that carries Patek Philippe’s hallmark in both technical quality and finishing.
