an imposing ceiling lamp, executed in his studio, Stockholm, 1920s.

Wrought iron and leaded glass. Height 70 cm, total height including chain ca. 120 cm. Alternative wall mounting included.

Wear and minor repairs. A small glass with a crack. Patina.

Designer

The artist blacksmith Petrus Forssberg had his studio at Jacobsbergsgatan 32 in Stockholm. He produced lighting fixtures and objects in wrought iron, and participated in several exhibitions, including the Stockholm Exhibition in 1909 and the Gothenburg Exhibition in 1923.
