A pair of Gustavian giltwood two-branch girandole mirrors by J. Åkerblad (master in Stockholm 1758-99).

Gilded and bronzed. Oval shape with a crown of oak leaves and ribbon bow, frame with bead molding and smooth surfaces. Mercury-backed mirror glass. Light arms of brass. Signed IÅ under the crown and dated with the Stockholm town mark 1782. Height 64.5, width 41 cm.
