Depicted seated on a tall hourglass-shaped throne with the hands in bumispharsa mudra, the earth touching gesture. The type of halo, ushnisha and elongated body speaks of Ava, northeastern Burma. Traces of gilding. Height 18 cm.

Purchased by a Swedish collector of buddhist art from Lempertz.
