A pair of Chinese blanc de Chine 'Buddhist lion' joss stick holders, Qing dynasty, Kangxi (1662-1722).

Each modeled with one paw resting on a pierced brocade-patterned ball above rectangular bases. Height 33 cm.

Chips, cracks, damage to joss stick holder.
