An English 18 carat gold snuff box, marks of William Summers, London 1867.

Rectangular box with a profiled rim and curved side panels. Gift engraving on the lid surrounded by birds and palm trees, underneath an engraving of a mansion. Leaf scrolls along the edges. The lid also bears marks. Dimensions: 9 x 4.2 x 3 cm. Weight 156 g.
