A Gustavian carved giltwood console table, Stockholm, late 18th century.

Gilded and bronzed. Half-moon shaped. In the frieze, a drawer, decoration of zero galleries above draperies, three leaf-clad leg supports with carved cuts and ribbon-shaped finials, cross with a crowning urn, legs ending in the form of pine cones. Top of black diabase. Length 74.5, width 48, height 83 cm.
