A pair of late Gustavian Klismos chairs by E- Ståhl (master in Stockholm 1794-1820).
Painted in white with bronzed details. Curved upholstered back, rails with carved decoration of laurel leaves, mixed upholstered and fluted front legs; sabre legs at the back. Double-signed ES. Seat height 43, back height 78 cm.
