At the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2025, Nick Ross presented nine identical chairs, all made from different types of wood, as part of the installation "Material Conversations" together with the Italian design studio NM3. The installation highlighted Ross's interest in exploring materiality through repetition, where subtle variations in grain, tone, and texture became the focus.

The model is executed in a numbered edition of 8, of which the present chair is the first.
