A celadon glazed slip-decorated vase, bowl and box, Korea, Goryeo, 12/13th century.

The vase with rounded compressed body and a short flared neck. Inlaid in white slip with chrysanthemum flowers to a green celadon ground. Height 4.5 cm.
A bowl with light slip featuring chrysanthemum flowers to the exterior and the interior with flowers and a ruyi border, all to a greengrey celadon ground. Height 4 cm, diameter 13.5 cm.
The round box with cover decorated with a frieze of clouds interspersed with six flying cranes of white slip with iron-slip legs, beaks and eyes. Height 4 cm, diameter 10 cm.

Chips. Crazings to glaze.

Provenance

Rittmaster Gösta T:son Hedén (1919-2004), lived and worked in Korea during the 1950-60s as a military envoye. Thence by descent within the family.
