A celadon glazed 'lotus' bowl, Yuan/Ming dynasty.

The steeply rounded sides rising from a small ring foot, carved on the exterior a band of petals, covered inside and out with a sea-green glaze pooling to darker shades in the recessed area, the foot rim neatly pared, showing the light porcelaneous body partly burnt orange-brown from firing. Diameter 14.7 cm. Height 6.8 cm.

Cracks, crazing.
