The model "à l'Afrique" by Jean-Simon Deverberie (1764-1824). Gilded and patinated bronze. Modeled as a female hunter seated with a lion and a tortoise, the base with rococo ornamentation in relief of garlands, putti, and pearl frieze. Length 37.5, width 15, height 46 cm. A pendulum and key are included.
