An Augsburg renaissance crucifix clock, the movement presumably by Hans Reinholdt (fl. ca 1630).

Ebony and ivory. In the form of Christ on the cross. Three-part footplate enclosing the movement, the movement plate signed "H. R. H.", the dial in the form of a rotating numeral ring with Roman numeral indices crowning the cross. Height 38.5 cm. In its original fitted leather-covered case. A key-winder is included.
