A Swedish rococo silver tea-pot, mark of Kilian Kelson, Stockholm 1756.

Oval model with twisted decor, wood handle, curved spout, and hinged lid with a lid finial in the form of a flower bud. Underneath marked 38 1/8 lod (loth) and the initials JJLSS are engraved. Small stamp mark with previous owner's initials CHS in three places. Height 17.5 cm. Weight approx. 514 g.

Provenance

Johannes Almqvist (1731-1816), prost och kyrkoherde på Visingsö. Möjligen var den ett arv från fadern Sven Almqvist (1699-1780), prost och kyrkoherde i Södra Unnaryd.
