Professor Ivar Hallström (1826-1901) was a Swedish composer and pianist. In 1861, he became a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music and in 1881 of the Royal Society of Arts and Sciences in Gothenburg. For a time, from 1853, he served as librarian to the then Prince Oscar (later King Oscar II).
