More information

Born in Pforzheim, Germany’s historic goldsmithing center, in 1943, the artist was rigorously trained at the Goldschmiedeschule (1958–61), an experience that laid the foundation for a distinguished six-decade career in gold and silversmithing. Further studies at the Kunst- und Werkschule in Pforzheim (1962–65) preceded a move to Sweden in 1966. After periods in Växjö and Östersund, the artist settled in Västerås in 1968, establishing a workshop and gallery that remained active for over 40 years. A brief period in Skåne was followed by relocation in 2011 to Mörbylånga on Öland, where the artist continues to live and work at “Blå Kulan” gallery and silversmithy.
