Important Spring Sale delivered strong results across art, furniture, decorative arts, and Asian art. The auction featured a carefully curated catalogue and demonstrated a continued robust market for classical masters. The top lot was Anders Zorn’s "Hämta vatten" (1907), which sold for SEK 15.5 million, making it the season’s highest-priced Swedish artwork sold at auction in Sweden. Highlights also included million-level sales of works by August Strindberg, Helene Schjerfbeck, and John Bauer.
Important Spring Sale concludes the live season with a carefully curated selection of the very best in Fine Art, including works by Anders Zorn, August Strindberg, Helene Schjerfbeck, Carl Larsson and Bruno Liljefors. The auction also presents exceptional examples of works of art, carpets, silver and jewellery, spanning a wide range of periods, techniques, materials and artistic expressions. In addition, the sale features our Asian Department, offering art and works of craftsmanship including porcelain, ceramics, Buddhas, paintings, bronzes and jade objects.
