A distinctly 1970s interpretation of the Constellation, combining an integrated 18K gold bracelet with a broad, heavily textured finish and a remarkably restrained two-hand display. The dial is marked “OM” at 6 o’clock, short for Or Massif, denoting that the dial itself is made of solid gold. At its heart is Omega’s calibre 712, an unusually slim automatic chronometer movement measuring only 3 mm in thickness. The absence of a seconds hand further emphasises the clean, jewellery-like character of the design, a particularly characteristic expression of Omega’s more experimental gold watches of the 1970s.
