Developed in collaboration with Team New Zealand ahead of the 2003 America’s Cup, the Omega Seamaster America’s Cup Racing Chronograph combines the robust construction of a diving watch with timing functions designed for competitive sailing. Team New Zealand’s skipper, Dean Barker, contributed to its development, helping shape a watch suited to the demands of racing.
Powered by the automatic calibre 3602, the model features a distinctive regatta countdown display. Five circular apertures across the upper part of the dial progressively change colour, allowing the wearer to follow the crucial minutes before the start. The black dial bears the “America’s Cup” inscription, while the stainless steel case and matching bracelet retain the characteristic appearance of the Seamaster collection.
