This example may represent a transitional version of the Swedish Air Force-issued Citizen Viggen. While fitted with the later 8952-088719 case and a dial marked “Water Resist 10 Bar”, the dial is also marked 8950-083340, and the movement itself is marked caliber 8950. To the best of our knowledge, 8952 examples were also delivered with dials marked 8950-083340. This potentially indicates an overlap in production, where Citizen introduced the updated case and dial configuration before the transition to caliber 8952 was fully implemented.
