Ferdinand Ring var en dansk modellör anställd vid Höganäs Stenkolsbolags kärlfabrik 1856-69. Hand modeller var mycket populära och vissa av dem tellverkades in på 1900-talet. Betäckningen WN hänvisar till Wilhelm Nilsson som var arbetare/formare och har tillverkat urnan, och anställdes 1883.
