This large lighting installation in aluminium, consisting of 4 individual elements, is reminiscent of sprouting growth structures in multicellular organisms before being exposed to the sun.
David Taylor is a Scottish silversmith and designer who lives and works in his studio home in Mellösa, Sweden. Taylor works diversely with simple materials and exploratory methods. With his creative and vital design language, often rooted in questions of function, sculpture, mass production, and uniqueness, Taylor has distinguished himself in contemporary design.
