Swedish Modern Lighting

Lighting is an essential part of any home. With its unique blend of sculptural form and practical function, lamps are a favorite item to decorate with. This season Bukowskis presents an opportunity to bid on a curated collection of floor, table, and ceiling lamps from the golden age of Swedish Design, from the 1920s to the 1950s, encompassing styles from Swedish Grace to Swedish Modern. Several of the era's most significant designers and manufacturers are represented, such as Harald Notini for Böhlmarks, Erik Tidstrand and Bertil Brisborg for Nordiska Kompaniet, as well as rare fixtures from Orrefors, Boréns, ASEA, ateljé Lyktan and others.
