Georg Jensen

GEORG JENSEN
Georg Jensen was a Danish silversmith and designer. Jensen studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and set up his silversmith’s workshop in 1904. In 1924, he opened a branch on Fifth Avenue in New York and was associated with many designers who are now renowned names, e.g. Sigvard Bernadotte, Arne Jacobsen and Verner Panton. Georg Jensen has always sold high-quality silver items featuring designs ahead of their time. Pure and timeless aesthetics are the signature of the company. This theme includes jewellery, timepieces and silver items by, among others, Henning Koppel, Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe, Jaqueline Rabun, Allan Scharff, Andreas Mikkelsen and Regitze Overgaard.
