Scandinavian Design Classics

Scandinavian design classics – more modern than ever before

Scandinavian design make a room feel more modern than ever – even though the majority of the designs are more than 50 years old. In many ways Scandinavian design is a world-wide concept where Danish and Swedish designers have a rumor as a presence of good design. Architects such as Finn Juhl, Hans J. Wenger, Børge Mogensen and Arne Jacobsen are the representatives of the Danish golden age. Furniture and textile creator Josef Frank, furniture carpenter Bruno Mattsson and lightning designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson are strong voices for Swedish modern art work and craftsmanship – and Alvar Aalto is the most powerful voice of Finnish functionality with his soft, organic shapes in contract to the more scaled down idiom. Therefore we have curated a theme auction at Bukowskis online called Scandinavian Design Classics including Swedish, Danish and Finnish favorites, which all are everlasting thanks to their high quality and good design. Furniture and objects that for sure are a long-lasting and sustainable investment in your home.
