George Henry Longly, born 1978, is a British artist based in London . He is a graduate of Central Saint Martins (MA) and of Sheffield Hallam University (BA). Selected solo exhibitions include Hair Care at Jonathan Viner in London and Kenall Koppe in Glasgow (2014), Pushy Kisser at Lüttgenmeijer in Berlin (2012), Vanille at Valentin in Paris (2012), Decades at Vidal Cuglietta in Brussels (2011) and Mirrors at Brooks Mews in London (2011). Selected group shows include A Journey Through London Subculture at the ICA in London (off-site, 2013), Reading The Surface at David Zwirner in London (2013), Prodigal in Blue at Laura Bartlett in London (2013), Septic Finger Carl Kostyal, Stockhom (w/ George Henry Longly & Nicolas Deshayes)(2014). He has received awards from The Elephant Trust, Arts Council England and The Henry Moore Foundation and performed as part of Park Nights at the Serpentine Gallery, London.
