Discover Hans Viksten's world
The Swedish artist Hans Viksten's pictures are full of mystique and magic. Viksten worked with several different occupations prior to him becoming an artist. He studied at Signe Barth's School of Art in Stockholm and at Gerlesborgsskolan, along with the Swedish artists Evert Lundquist and Lennart Rodhe at the Swedish Academy of Art. In his expressive and partly abstract paintings and drawings, humans and animals become symbols, and nature turn into poetry. Inspiration is taken from the Hälsingland's deep forests, blue hills, lakes and mystery. Welcome to visit Hans Viksten's world!
