Patrik Andinés bildvärld är ofta berättande och han skapar särpräglade miljöer i främmande landskap. Andiné avbildar verkligheten samtidigt som han konstruerar en surrealistisk bild. De är oerhört detaljrika. Här finns också ett kusligt och erotiskt drag, som skapar en osäkerhet om bildens egentliga betydelse. Det här är ett långsamt måleri, väl uppbyggt, med ett djup i färglagren som nås med en extrem noggrannhet likt målningar från tidigare sekel. En renässansmästare i samtiden!
