Dine in style

Embrace your creativity by setting the table in style

One can look at popular historical tableware that still influence our way of setting the table – the two main ones are called "Service a la Francaise" and "Service a la Russe". The former comes from the French court's 18th-century invitations and the second got its name in the 19th century after a dinner with the Russian diplomat Prince Borisovitch Kourakine. Or you can improvise and mix. Season and purpose can of course determine the look, mood and colors of the table setting – but the possibilities for variation are endless – therefore it is fun to be able to indulge in different styles through the items offered in our ongoing theme auction Dine in Style.
