From Bauhaus and onwards

The Bauhaus school's influence on the 20th century's development of industrial design and crafts is extensive. The objects in the theme auction reflect several of the designers associated with Bauhaus and their objects that shaped the design language of the 20th century. Some of the most important designers of the 20th century are represented such as Wilhelm Wagenfeld, Marcel Breuer, Walter Gropius and Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe, but also designers such as Otto Lindig, Ladislav Sutnar and Ingrid Triller. The objects come from two important private collections of 20th century design, namely Rolf Walters and Torbjörn Lenskog's collections.
