Decorated in famille rose with pheasants in a garden. Crest and arms of Davis and Southerne in pretence. Diameter 22,5 cm.

Restored, coated, yellowed.

Provenance

The coat is of Davis of Enfield in Middlesex, granted to Davis of London and Westminster, 1746. William Davis who later lived at Enfield in Middlesex, was Assistant Governor of Bengal and married about 1738 Anne, the sole heiress of John Sothern of Fitts in Shropshire.
