Kalevala koru made in 1997 copies of the brooch Otto Roland Mellin had done in 1870 in honor of Finland's 80 years of independence. The collection was named Memory and consisted of a brooch/pendant and three different kindds of earrings in gold and silver. The origilan brooch is made of gold and has a turquoise in the center of the brooch.
