The goldsmith Kai Lindström worked for Kalevala Koru for almost 40 years, starting in 1961. He began his carreer as a modelsmith making for instance the prototypes for Börje Rajalin's jewellery for Kalevala Koru. Later on Lindström began to design jewellery for Kalevala Koru and some of the best known series are 1515 and Luontoset.
