Max Papart

Max Papart, born in Marseille in 1911, a versatile master of composition, applied several different techniques in his production, of which the rotogravure technique known as Carborundum was especially characteristic of him. Stylistically, the production strongly shows traits of Cubism. The collection, which is now being auctioned, features a diverse collection of works from different eras in the form of graphic works, collages and drawings.
