Selected Finnish Classics

The Selected Finnish Classics theme auction presents a diverse and high-class selection, consisting of works from our country's esteemed classical artists such as Hjalmar Munsterhjelm, Pekka Halonen, Venny Soldan-Brofeldt, Alfred William Finch, Väinö Blomstedt and Ilmari Aalto.

It is a pleasure also to highlight exquisite paintings by artists such as Julia Stigzelius-de Cock and Hilda Flodin, who are lesser known to a wider audience. Among these, Henry Ericsson's fascinating male study "Salvatore" is a true rarity deserving a special mention.
