Scandinavian Studio Ceramics

Modern ceramics remain a timeless detail in our homes whose features of Nordic deep and serene tones, delicate details and glazed surfaces with exquisite shapes delight the eye. For the most part, Swedish designers of modern ceramics were productive during the 1930s and were skilled at designing objects that feel timeless even today. In addition to ceramics being decorative, many objects are functional and can be used as vases, urns, bowls and serving dishes.

Bukowskis presents a collection of ceramics with many unique objects – here are turned vases, bowls and dishes in different sizes and glazes by designers such as Rolf Palm and Kjell Bolinder from Höganäs, Gunnar Nylund and Carl–Harry Stålhane from Rörstrand to Berndt Friberg and Stig Lindberg from Gustavsberg and Ingrid & Erich Triller from their workshop Tobo in Uppland.

Collecting ceramics at auction means that you become unique with your objects – in addition, ceramics are made of materials that last for many years and age gracefully. A tribute to the sustainable and the personal.
