Bertil Fällman – Thirty years of handicraft

Bertil Fällman, Piteå (1920-2020) started late in life as a knife maker but for thirty years he continually practiced and when he passed away in 2020, he was one of the country's most skilled horn craftsmen. He had won the Swedish Championships several times and had gained international renown. Inspired by Sami culture, he created works of art out of reindeer horn and Masurian birch of the highest class. This auction contains knives and boxes that he kept for himself and have not been resold at any time. Several of them have been competition submissions in the Swedish Championships and National Championships.
